How To Place An Order

Online shopping with Senada Batik Bali is easy!

  • When you find a product that you want to purchase, simply choose the quantity, then click the “Add To Cart” button.

  • You can continue with your shopping and add more items to the shopping cart.

  • Once you have chosen all the items that you want to purchase, you can then proceed to “Checkout”.

  • Review your shopping, change quantities or remove items.

  • Enter any promotional coupon codes.

  • Proceed to checkout, enter full name, your billing and shipping address, and contact details.

  • Choose your preferred shipping method.

  • Select your chosen payment option.

  • Review and submit your order.

Out Of Stock Items

What if I want to purchase an out of stock item? We offer a “waitlist” option for out-of-stock items. Please click the “Join Waitlist” button on the item’s product page to join the waitlist. You will be notified by email as soon as the item is back in-stock and ready to order once again.

Can I Change Or Cancel An Order

You cannot directly change or cancel an order made through our online shop. Please choose carefully. If you wish to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately. We are unable to change or cancel an order that has already shipped.

Can I Pick Up My Order At Your Bali Store

Yes you can. Please choose the “Local Pick Up” option in the shipping section on the shop checkout page. An order confirmation email will be sent to you with your order pick up time information. For a location map of our store and our opening hours information, please visit our contact page.

Do You Offer Promotional Coupon Codes

Yes, we do occasional offer coupon codes. To stay informed of any promotional coupon codes we may offer, please make sure to subscribe to our email newsletter, or follow us on social media; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

How Do I Know What Size To Choose?

Please check the sizes guide of each item shown on the product page. We also have a general size guide page for approximate sizing reference purposes.

Checking Your Order Status

You can check your order status by visiting your Orders tab on your account page.

Order Confirmation

You will be sent an email with your order confirmation from us. This email will also include your shipping tracking number. If you have not received this email within 48 hours of placing your order, please contact us.

Payment Currency

All transaction on our online shop are made in Indonesian Rupiah currency. Due to fluctuating foreign currency exchange rates, we do not invoice in foreign currencies. As a guide, we may show estimate foreign currency prices for our products based on recent foreign currency conversion rates. Any foreign currency prices shown on our website are to be used as a guide only!

What Payment Methods Do We Accept

We accept credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfer from local Indonesian banks. All transaction are billed in Indonesian Rupiah currency.

Do We Receive Overseas Bank Transfers

We do not recommend this payment method for our online shop purchases as there are extra fees and it usually takes 3-5 days to receive an overseas bank transfer. We cannot hold your order for this amount of time.

How Long Do You Have To Complete Your Payment

You need to complete your payment within 36 hours of placing your order.

Which Shipping Providers Do We Use

For domestic shipping within Indonesia, we use JNE, TIKI, or GO-JEK’s GO-SEND courier services. For international shipping, we use Indonesian Postal Service (Pos Indonesia) Standard Air Postage or EMS (Express Mail Service).

Shipping Costs

We offer free domestic shipping within Indonesia on orders over IDR 500,000. All other shipping costs will be displayed on the shopping checkout page. Shipping costs will depend on the final destination, quantity, weight or volume of your purchased items.

How Long Will Shipping Take

Once your order is shipped, delivery times can take approximately 7-14 business days, depending on the shipping service used and the final destination.

When Will Your Order Be Shipped

After your payment has been confirmed, your order will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.

Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You will be able to track your shipment directly from the shipping provider’s website tracking page. If you have not received an email with your shipment tracking number, please contact us.

What Is Our Return Policy

Any returned items must be undamaged in their original packaging, with all labels and tags attached, and must not have been worn, altered or washed. We reserve the right to reject return requests if the returned item(s) are in an unacceptable condition.

How To Return An Item

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item(s) to make arrangements.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returned items.

What Is The Out Of Stock Waitlist

The out of stock “waitlist” is an option we provide for if a product is out-of-stock and you wish to added to a waitlist that will notify you when the out-of-stock product is in-stock and available for purchase once again.

How To Add An Item To Waitlist

If a product is out-of-stock, you will be given the option to “Join Waitlist” on the item’s product page. If you select this option, the item will be added to a waitlist, and you will be notified by email as soon as this product is once again in-stock and available for purchase.

What Do You Sell In Your Store

We sell the same batik fabric products at our store & showroom in Bali, as our online shop. Although, we do also stock other unique and interesting items that may not be shown on our online shop. If you are visiting Bali, we invite you to stop by our store for a look. A map showing our location can be viewed on our contact page.

In Store Payment Methods

We accept payments in cash and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). All transaction are made in Indonesian Rupiah currency.

Do We Wholesale?

Yes, we receive wholesale orders. You can visit our wholesale page for more information, or send us a message via our contact page.

Is There A Minimum Wholesale Order Quantity

Yes there is. To receive our discounted wholesale prices, we do have minimum order quantity requirements. Please contact us for details.

Can I Request Samples

Yes you can. Sample batik products are available on request to customers intending to make future wholesale orders. All samples are charged at full retail price, with the wholesale price difference credited to the invoice of any subsequent wholesale order made within thirty (30) days. All shipping costs for sample products are the customer’s responsibility.

What Is batik

Batik is a method of dying fabrics using a traditional wax resist dying technique. For more information on batik, please visit our “the art of batik” page.

How Is Batik Fabric Made

The art form of batik is a very intricate and time consuming wax resist dying process. Certain processes can be repeated many times before the final completion of the batik fabric. This requires great patience and skill from the batik making artisan. For a more complete description of how authentic batik fabric is made, please visit our “the art of batik” page.

Is Our Batik Fabric Authentic

Yes! All of Senada Batik Bali fabrics are handmade by skilled batik artisans, using traditional, authentic, “tjap” (stamp) wax resist batik making methods. We use the best quality fabrics, colour dyes, and waxes available.

Batik Fabric Properties

Any wax residue, or irregularities in the colour or effect of the batik fabric, are a natural part of the batik making process. This is not an imperfection, but is inherent to this product and does not diminish the high quality of the batik craftsman’s work; our batik fabrics are handcrafted works of art.

Batik Fabric Colour Consistency

All our colour dyes are mixed by hand, and may differ slightly in tone or hue for each newly mixed colour dye batch. Although Senada Batik Bali makes great effort in keeping our colour range consistent, as with any handcrafted product, the end result may vary for each newly produced batik fabric work of art.

Batik Fabric Care

We recommend washing new batik fabric separately as you may experience some dye bleeding in the first few washes, however, this will not affect the colour of your fabric. Please follow the care instructions on the label of your batik fabric product. With proper care, your batik fabric will be enjoyed for many years.

How Do I Order

Once you find an item you want to purchase, on it’s product page enter the quantity you wish to buy and click the “Add to Cart” button. If you want to shop for more items, click on the “Continue Shopping” button. Once you have finished choosing all the items you wish to purchase, click on the “Checkout” button on the Shopping Cart page where you can complete the ordering process. You will be prompted to login to your account or register a new account. If you need help placing an online order, you can contact us for assistance.


We accept Visa and MasterCard credit card payments and direct bank transfer from domestic Indonesian banks. All transaction on our online shop are made in Indonesian Rupiah currency. Any foreign currency prices shown on our online shop are only estimates based on recent currency conversion rates, and are to be used as a foreign currency price guide only.

Order Confirmation

Upon completion of your online order, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you provided during checkout.

Shipping Information

All items are shipped from our headquarters in Bali, Indonesia. Once payment has been received, we endeavour to process your order and have it shipped out within 1-3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays, will be processed on the next business day. An e-mail confirmation with your tracking number will be sent within 48 hours of shipment.

Local Bali Pick Up / Delivery

For pick up from our store in the Seminyak area of Bali, please choose the “Local Pick Up” shipping option at shopping checkout time. For express delivery within our local area of South Bali, we use GO-JEK’s GO-SEND service. For other Bali areas, we use the shipping method shown in the “Domestic Shipping” section below.

Domestic Shipping

Deliveries within Indonesia, we send your order via JNE or TIKI courier service.

International Shipping

We offer international deliveries to most worldwide destinations. We send your order via Indonesian Postal Service (Pos Indonesia) Standard Air Postage or EMS (Express Mail Service).

Delivery Times

For domestic orders, delivery is usually made within 7 business days. For international orders, delivery can take 7-14 business days, depending on the shipping service used and the country of destination.

Shipping Costs

  • Free domestic shipping within Indonesia for orders over IDR 500,000.

  • The cost of shipping will depend on the quantity, weight, or volume of your package.

  • If you choose to use an express shipping service, an extra shipping cost will be charged.

  • The total shipping cost will be shown on the shopping checkout page.

  • Bulky, oversized, or delicate items, may incur additional special handling fees.

Order Tracking

A tracking number is emailed to you within 48 hours of shipment. You can directly track your shipment using the tracking number via the shipping providers website tracking system.

Customs & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs import duties and taxes at the destination country. Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Please contact your local customs office for any information relating to these charges.

Shipping Terms & Conditions

  • We are required by law to declare our shipments according to their actual content and correct full value. We cannot agree to any requests to alter the shipment declaration value and/or the content of the shipment.

  • We do not ship to PO Box addresses.

  • Any undeliverable shipment resulting from an incomplete delivery address being supplied, is not our responsibility. To prevent this from happening, please make sure that your shipping details are filled in correctly.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for any damages incurred during shipping or transit.

  • Unexpected delays in a shipment delivery can sometimes happen, we can not be held responsible for any delays in delivery that may occur due to reasons outside of our control.

  • If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us immediately so we can lodge an enquiry with the shipping provider to investigate the status of your shipment.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

This returns and exchanges policy applies to all purchases made through our online store. Any returned items must be undamaged in their original packaging, with all labels and tags attached, and must not have been worn, altered or washed. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item(s) to make arrangements. We reserve the right to reject return or exchange requests if the returned item(s) are in an unacceptable condition.

Exchange Eligibility

Exchanges are only available for size and/or colour in the same style.

Damaged Goods

We take great care in packaging your goods safely. We cannot accept responsibility in the unfortunate event that your items are damaged in transit.

Faulty Or Incorrect Goods

In the unlikely event that you have received defective item(s) due to a fault in the manufacturing process, or if you have received an incorrect item, we would be happy to exchange or refund your purchase. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your goods.

Change Of Mind

We do not offer refunds of change of mind items.

Sales items cannot be returned or exchanged. Please choose carefully.

Product Size

To avoid any incorrect sizing issues please be sure to study the size specifications of each individual item shown on their product information page. Please keep in mind, that many of our clothing styles are designed with a loose fit in mind.

Product Colour

Every effort has been made to display as clearly and accurately as possible the colours of our products. However, the actual colours you see can vary greatly depending on your computer or mobile device screen settings. We cannot guarantee that the display of our product colours will be accurate on your computer or mobile device.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning any item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Change Or Cancel Your Order

If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We are unable to change or cancel an order that has already shipped.

Some of our more popular items may sell out quickly. Why Is My Coupon Code Not Working?

A coupon code will not work if it has expired or is no longer valid. Only one (1) coupon code can be used at a time. Coupon codes can not be used for sale items.

Proper Care

Senada Batik Bali fabric products are made with quality workmanship, handmade by our own batik artisans. Only the best quality materials available are used during the batik process. All fabrics, colour dyes, and waxes used in our batik production are of the highest quality.

If proper care is followed, your Senada Batik Bali fabric products will last for many years. To extend the longevity of your Senada Batik Bali product, we advise you to follow the care instructions shown on your batik fabric product label.

Batik Fabric Care Instructions

  • Wash your new batik fabric product separately as you may experience some dye bleeding in the first few washes.

  • We recommend that you hand wash your batik fabric product in cold water.

  • Use mild (sensitive) washing detergent.

  • Do not wring dry, soak or bleach.

  • Do not tumble dry.

  • Drip dry in shade (avoid direct sunlight).

  • Iron your batik fabric clothing inside-out on low heat.

  • Silk batik fabric, to help retain its texture and integrity, it’s best the silk fabric is damp when ironing. For extra care, a press cloth can be used while ironing. Iron inside-out on silk setting or the lowest heat setting.

Ready For Batik Process

Our batik fabrics are made using several RFD (ready for dye) raw white fabric types. For our batik fabric production, we choose only grade “A” quality RFD raw white fabrics in the following fabric types; Rayon, Chiffon, Cotton, and Silk. Rayon fabric is our most widely used and by far most popular selling fabric, followed by Chiffon, Cotton, and the occasional made to order production of Silk. For details on each fabric type we use in our batik fabric production, more information is shown below.

Rayon Fabric

Rayon fabric is our most widely used, popular selling fabric. Rayon is a man-made fabric using natural wood pulp fibres, but rayon fabric is not considered to be a synthetic fabric. Rayon is also known as “Viscose”. Rayon has a silky appearance and feel, it is relatively light in nature and has a good “drape” quality. Rayon breathes well like cotton, making it cool and comfortable to wear in warmer climates.

Chiffon Fabric

The chiffon fabric we use is a high twist rayon chiffon. Chiffon is defined by the type of weave, twist and weight of the yarns used. Chiffon is an elegant looking fabric and has a comfortable airy feel. It is a sheer, light, and slightly translucent fabric with a soft flowing drape character. Our chiffon batik fabrics are often favoured in use for lighter shirts and blouses, dresses, cover-ups, and scarves.

Cotton Fabric

Cotton is a soft, natural fabric. It is cool and durable, and breaths well, making it comfortable to wear in all seasons. Cotton has a high tensile strength, making it strong, durable, and versatile; an easy to wash and care for type of fabric.

Silk Fabric

Silk is a fine, soft, strong fabric that is naturally produced by silkworms, woven into beautiful luxurious and sensuous fabrics. Silk fabric is warm to touch and warm to wear. Silk is an all-climate fabric, it is warm and cosy in winter, comfortably and cool in summer. Silk retains its shape, drapes well, and caresses the figure nicely.
